well the first two were in tx and the last two here in Ks. The doctors there in tx weren't doing much for her. She went to the ER 4-5 before they finally checked her and discovered her tubal pregnancy. and still it took another 2 weeks before they put her under surgery. Yeah, the doctor told her that she probably wouldn't be able to have anymore kids.

I am so sorry to see this but I feel that your sister needs to see a specialist and to have tests carrid out to see if there are any underlying causes for her re-current misscarriages. My wife has now finally just been diagnosed with hughes syndrome after losing another baby 23 weeks into pregnancy. Thankfully treatment of aspirin should enable her to have a successful pregnancy next time round. Over the next few months please support your sister as much as possible, there is nothing more heartbreaking than losing a child or chidren. I hope that she has a healthy baby in the future

First of all, any good doctor would tell her that she needs to stop trying to conceive for at least a couple of cycles before trying again. Miscarraiges are hard on the body and she needs time to recover.

Secondly, most doctors begin testing for problems after 3 consecutive miscarraiges. I can't imagine that they would not at least attempt to diagnose the underlying cause of the miscarraiges after 4.

I had 2 miscarraiges prior to having my first son. Turns out I had low progesterone levels and had to take hormones for about two weeks, as well as being Rh negative.

an insemination will not help, she has no trouble getting pregnant, just staying pregnant. She needs to take a few months to fully heal before trying again. With he next pregnancy she needs to get her hormones checked ASAP, she may have a progesterone deficiency or a clotting disorder that is keeping her from staying pregnant. If she can, have her see a fertility specialist or a reproductive endocrinologist, they can help more than a regular ob.

Not only does your sister need to be checked out but so does her partner. Either one of them could be having a chromosome problem or a clotting issue. I agree-her problem isn't in getting pregnant but in staying pregnant. I'm actually kinda shocked her dr hasn't mentioned this before. With my RE if you have more than two miscarriages you and your other have to undergo genetic counseling. I'm so sorry she's going through this. Good luck to her and to you!

wow i spread my condolences. 4 miscarriages is not a good sign, I know someone who had a similar problem. I would wait at least another 6months to try to get pregnant. Don't know where you live but i know a great doctor who is very affordable. people from all over different states contact him. you can fax him or call him he is in new york. the number is 718 745 7172 Dr. Ayman Shahine. a lot of people went to him and they got pregnant with out using artificial inseminating.

it rather is achieveable..however she don't have placed a tampon in! that ought to reason an infection if she is miscarrying! I even have had 2 miscarriages and my 'indications' have been: -shiny crimson bleeding (began out easy have been given heavier) -Painful cramping -Passing blood clots and fetal tissue -all being pregnant indications disappeared-didnt experience pregnant anymore. She rather desires to get to the physician to verify whats occurring!

If she keeps having miscarriages chances are her body can not handle the stress of carrying a baby so she is infertile which means she will never get pregnant. If she gets pregnant again the chances of her having another miscarriage are high due to all her miscarriages before. $10,000 for each cycle of invitro fertilization and $5,000 for each cycle of fertility treatments.
