Your small intestine produces bile acids which is green. If these are excreted from the body its a good thing b/c bile is made up of cholestrol based derivatives. Keep eating those fiberous fruits and veggies!

Sometimes fecal matter may be rich in iron which gives it a green coloration. You will notice this with newborns also, there fecal matter is usually dark or bright green because babies waste is high in iron.
