we have random school drug tests and I was wondering what I do if I'm on my period during that time? Since they make you pee in a cup..
They won't let you flush the toilet yourself..so either way they're going to see.
Should I wipe BEFORE I go in the cup, or just go??
Sorry, I know this is gross, but I wanna know just in case.

It's fine to wipe before. Before pee tests for OBGYN appointments they usually provide a wipe to clean yourself with before you pee. Just remember that you are not the only person they test who is likely to be on their period. They won't analyze it and they probably won't even notice that you're cycling. They're just looking for drugs and then they'll dispose of your pee. Don't stress, they don't care about that.

I didn't read all that. But if you get caught with drugs they can drug test you. Or if you're on probation. I don't know if there's any other reasons. Also, it's different at each school. Edit: You can't refuse a search. You have NO rights in high school. Absolutely none. They will search everything if they want, and you can't do a thing about it. A school is a government agency, unless you go to private school. Also, even if you have a prescription to something, you will get in trouble. You have to fill out a prescription form with the office before you can take ANY prescription drug with you to school. Or non prescription. I got in trouble for Tylenol. I think it's ridiculous. But that's the way it is. Oh and one more thing, if you are involved in school sports then they can drug test you at any time.

I would just be honest about the situation if necessary, but yeah, just wipe first. If you tell someone up front, they may not even make you do it because of health/sanitary reasons. But I'm sure you're not alone..I'm sure it has happened to many other girls. Good luck.

You urinate out of your urethra and the menstrual flow comes out of the vagina so I am not sure what you problem would be. You hold the cup under your urethra not your vagina so there is no problem. You have to wash your peri area before you give a urine sample any way.

why on earth is your school drug testing you? uhm just wipe before you pee and then well...its nothing bad if they know your on your period. happens to every chick ya know? lol

Dont worry about it just quietly let them know you are on your period and they will let you know what to do dont stress over it. its just a part of life and im sure they will not be grossed out if you tell them

Wipe. And tell the peson testing you that you have your period.
Maybe you should try tampons, then you wouldn't be bleeding all over the place when you have to test.

If you explain it to them, I sure they can send you to a private drug testing place when you monthly period is over.
So if you are clean, there is nothing to worry about.

i dont know, i guess the only thing u can do is wipe before you do it, but it's still going to come out a bit while u're peeing, wow this is gross but yeah i guess u gonna have to do that.

wear a clean tampon before u go to the test and then theres no blood or anything
