as we have got a 20-20 format and its fabulous,extreme excitement and thrill like the football.so ,i dont think we need 50 overs match.
thc BCCI is against 20-20 because they think it will reduce their revenues.
sports is meant for entertainment,as cricket(esp. test cricket) just a game for players not for spectators.as the indian people dont have any game leaders so they follows the cricket.
the waste of time in cricket is limlting the cricket to beibg popularising in whole world.
now this 20-2- format can even give good competition to football......

While 50 Overs odi will not be abolished all of a sudden, the Twenty/20 cricket will become most popular in time to come and take the place of ODI in due course.

The 20-20 should be abolished and replaced by bowl out competition. It is equally interesting and takes less time.

No way!
I prefer the 50 over longer matches, so we can enjoy the match better. The 20/20 matches are always over just when you start enjoying them.
