I just came upon an article about the Real ID act...a precurser for National ID cards, signed into law back in 2005 as a rider on one of the troop appropriations bills.
Where in the Constitution does it give the Federal Government authority to issue licenses or identification, or to maintain a national database as such?

I don't know if anyone else has explained this but here's how it works
the federal government controls licenses on interstate commerce, like on interstate airlines, and federal identification you can use in different states. The federal government also gives the states a lot of the funding for their roads
if a state does not use the Real-ID then the federal government cannot stop that state from its own license, but if you try to use that state's license in another state, the federal government is now empowered to not allow it or to cut funding to a state. They can use this to force tons of regulations on states not specifically in the Constitution
I have hope that more liberals will go into Congress and repeal the act, now that it's being rejected by many states

There's nothing granting authority to nor prohibiting the federal gov't from implementing a national ID.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no law requiring a U.S. citizen to apply for a Social Security number to live or work in the United States; however, it is required for parents to claim their children as tax dependents. Plus, nowadays, it's quite difficult to engage in financial transactions and apply for gov't services without an SSN as it has sort of become a "de facto" ID.

It does not. However the funding of the National ID card is being left up to the states. If one believes in Revolutions and the "End of Times" they could also make a logical argument that your credit score is the mark of the beast.

We already got it when the government made social security numbers mandatory.
Think about it... what can you do in society without a SSN... nothing. You can't work. You can't buy property. ETC

If Hillary wins, yes, we'll all be marked by the Beast.
"According to Revelation, 144,000 Jews will also not take the Mark of the Beast."
You might want to talk with Mitt Romney about that.

No, we are not all getting it. I, for one, will be adamantly refusing it. I know the consequences of taking it. No thanks. According to Revelation, 144,000 Jews will also not take the Mark of the Beast.
