I have a SIM card in. The red light beside the charger jack on the side of the phone is one, as though it is charging, but i try to turn the phone on and it wont. In the middle of the screen however there is a small square, that is the same shape as the button on the left side beside the screen. This small square has little circles going in a circle in the little square shape. Has any one ever seen this before? What does it mean?

Does it look like a little sidekick cartoon person that got knocked out? that happened to me and the guy at the store said he has never seen that before.. So I've been using my sidekick 2 for the past few months

unplug it and remove the battery and count to 100 (to let the phone discharge) then put the battery back in dont plug it in turn it on then if it comes up plug it in, if that doesnt work go to your local store you may need to buy a data pack or that sidekick might not be on the right frequency as your carrer

Ya, its normal and that means that it's loading, let it be for the night and if you wake up and its still like that, it might be locked for a different wireless care provider or the phone is defective. Return if defective.
