I knew I wanted to be a photographer when I was very young. My older sister got National Geographic and I poured over those books when I went to spend the night at her house. Somehow, I haven't gotten there yet. Been doing my own thing, ya know? I want to do so many things, that I can't settle on one.
Right now I need a job. I am working on the young man who's doing my bathroom remodel right now, very subltly. His business is growing quickly and he needs a secretary to handle the office, so he can go out and work with his partner.
So maybe I'll be a secretary for a while. Don't know yet. But I'm always searching.

I always, always wanted to be a mom and take care of kids. I had 3 daughters by the time I was 24 (I was married), and had a licensed home daycare for 15 years. Now, I'm a grandma to the best 3 kids in the world and 2 of them live with me along with 2 of my now grown daughters- we just all bought a house together! Also, now, I'm a nanny to 2 wonderful little kids whom I love like my own grandkids AND I teach kindergarten on Sundays at my synagogue! SO YES, I'm doing what I always wanted to and I'm so happy- I have a great life!

I knew since I was about 14 what I want to do with my life... and I'm doing it right now -very happy.
suggest you make 2 goals - one you can do and one you can't - once you reach the first one, you can now try to reach the second one - it's a nice challange in life.
Know what you want and what you are good at, be flexible because life is uncertain and Good luck searching.

Career change after 20 years.........finding one's niche in life can be a difficult challenge. Ultimately, I needed to rise above everyone else's agenda for me, and carve out the niche that truly belonged to me. I finally realized........ this is the place where my creativity, imagination, and uniqueness really lives.

When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a writer. I still want to be a writer, but uh, it's still gonna be a journey before I get there.

I thought so, but discovered it was probably chosen for me by what my mother wanted from the day I was born....got to college and found out it wasn't for me. I've been wandering from one thing to another since.
