Firstly, your 360 must have a hard drive.
Secondly, your 360 must be able to connect to XBox Live.

These two steps will allow you to download the emulation software for original XBox games.

However, not all games have been made backward compatible. If MS hasn't fixed the emulator to make your particular game in question work, there's nothing you can do.

right here that's the easy one.. Xbox360 is larger than Xbox ~So it skill Xbox can not triumph over Xbox360 by using fact it is merely too small ~Xbox video games may well be performed at Xbox360 console yet not as vice versa.

you could also go to xbox.com. there you should find a list of backwards compatible games. If the game you want to play is not on that list, then you just can't play it.

If the game you're trying to play is on that list, but say your xbox 360 console isn't connected to the internet, you can download the necesssary update to your computer and burn it to disc, or you can request a cd from microsoft containing the update and have it mailed to you.

But, the simplest way is to have your 360 console connected to the internet, and be signed into xbox live (silver or gold).

That way, the update(s) will be applied automatically, and you can get right to playing.

1. Get a hard drive for the 360 if you don't already have one.

2. Get the latest update.

3. Check here and see if the XBX game is on the list:
http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm

If your name is on the list, then it's playable on the 360. If it's not on the list, you'll have to wait until MS writes a software emulation for it.
