It's not a secret, but anger does not need a stimulus. Some people are naturally angry.

Naturally angry people, though, need sympathy to overcome this problem. Let that person know that they are being unreasonable, but in a calm, rational way.

Losing your cool is the first sign that their anger is justified.

Exactly the opposite of what I've been doing tonight--regarding the reporter I'd like to see skee-roo him/herself.

To successfully handle angry people, sometimes you need to act like you agree with them--empathize with them--show them that you feel for them (as hard as that may be...it generally works, and calms the person down).

it totally depends on what made them angry. and how angry they are. if it's a mad rage, then I'd say call for help. but if it's just really angry/upset, let them get they're feeling out. talking will help more than anything else. actions made in anger won't help, to say the least.

Even though you might be angry at their foolishness; it's best to keep your cool in hopes that it will calm down the irate one.

If their anger rubs off on you, nothing is going to be resolved.

Depends totally on the authority you can have over them. If your alone have nothing to fear and shall impose yourself. If others like elder or younger people can be caught on the "crossfire" is more difficult and external help is welcomed

Try calming them down by talking to them, listen to what they have to say. No matter what you do, don't get angry back, that only makes their anger worse!
