Homosexuals hide the sexuality in places like Iran to keep from being executed. Iran executed two teenage boys for the "crime of homosexuality" two years ago. Mostly likely just as in other places hostile to gays they use shame marriages and other tactics to blend into society. The pictures are chilling to anyone with a conscience. Republicans and social conservatives would do well to ask themselves if this is the world they want to live in when look at Iran? Because it is what they are ultimately advocating.

Seriously what kind of question is that of course there are homosexuals in Iran, they exist everywhere.
As for the answer from the guy below me, name an empire that still exists regardless of whether or not homosexuality was accepted. And if you're talking about the Greeks, they never had an empire.

Of course, they have gays in Iran, but its kept hidden because its not freely accepted and "glorified" like it is in the US. The Iranian goverment does not mandate that homosexuals are to be put to death. There are very few cases of any executions and the few you may come across were not performed by or with the goverments acknowledgement or permission. Most I come up with is a story of two teenagers that are hanged in Edalat for committing homosexual acts and partipating in the rape of a 13 year old. Seems you can come across more stories of homosexual prejudice and oppression in the United States. The Koran says homosexuality is a sin as does the Christian Bible.

They do have homosexuals in Iran. Due to Islamic laws they have to stay hidden. Remember Iran is a Islamic State.
