http://www.babycenter.com/0_the-13-rules-of-safe-pregnancy-exercise_622.bc?Ad=com.bc.common.AdInfo%40473fffaf says that pregnant women should NOT ride a bike because pregnancy throws you off balance and you could end up falling off and hurting yourself or the baby.

Many women like swimming since the water helps disperse the pregnancy weight. If you have a local pool, you might want to look into doing easy swimming.

Here's some info from http://physicaltherapy.about.com/od/exercisingduringpregnancy/p/pregnancyex.htm
"Walking: Walking is a great exercise to perform during pregnancy. It is low impact and you can easy control your speed. Walking for 20 minutes 4 times a week is a great way to stay in shape throughout your pregnancy.

Low Impact Aerobics: Low impact aerobics are a fun way to stay in shape. They can be performed in the privacy of your home, through instruction of a video tape, or at a local health club. There are many low impact aerobic pregnancy classes offered at gyms. This is a good way to bond with other mothers to be and discuss the changes your bodies are going through.

Swimming: Swimming is a great activity to perform while pregnant. This activity uses all of the major muscle groups in the body. The water also supports your extra pregnancy weight and decreases added strain on your joints.

Yoga: Yoga keeps you flexible and improves muscle strength during pregnancy. It is also a very relaxing form of exercises that can help reduce the stress that comes along with adding a new member to your family"

Bike riding is OK in the early part. Walking is also good when you get farther along. Some women even run while pregnant. You should also do some yoga to stretch your muscles. That will help alot in your delivery. Take the Lamaze lessons, the technique really does work.

I don't think you're supposed to ride a bike when you're pregnant, pressure on the cervix or something.
I'll bet if you talk to your doctor they may be able to recommend something that would work really well for you.

Congratulations, by the way!

I rode my bike until I was 7 months pregnant, and other than looking silly on my bike, it was great! I had a quick labor and delivery.. (6 hours) I think unless your doctir has restricted your mobility, than you are fine on a bike.. but always check with your doctor first before you change anything that is different than your usuall routine!

You should maintain the level of fitness you had before you were pregnat and maintain it throughout your pregnacy until your doctor restricts excercise. If you did not excercise, then start off really slow, like walking. Your doctor might not even want you to do this, it just depends~ask you doctor is the best advice here.
