Twenty20 is nothing as compared to test cricket.

We need to understand that Twenty20 is for different kind of people.

Twenty20 is for globalisation of cricket. It's there for generating more & more money.

The real & tough cricket is test cricket where you get a decent chance to fight back at any time

I wouldn't be too quick to judge Twenty20 cricket. We've seen in the world cup that it is maturing into a game where bowlers can make just as much of an impact as batsmen; it's not the all-out slogfest it started off as. Also, the role of Twenty20 in expanding the audience base should not be underestimated. I think it will also lift the standard of ODIs in the same way that ODIs have lifted the standard of Tests - it is no longer acceptable to score only 200 runs in a day unless the pitch is really nasty.

That being said, the shortness of the format makes it much easier for poor teams to upset good ones. While this is a good thing in some respects, it does mean that the true test of class is in the longer formats, and particularly in Tests, as it always has been. It's a lot harder to play above your level for 100 overs than it is for 40 overs. And to play well for five full days you have to be a quality team.

Luck can substitute for class, quality and discipline in the short term. But to get over the line in a Test series you simply have to be the better team.

I get your point. The real fun is seeing a bowler get back at the batsman. 20:20 cricket is a batsman's game...It slightly is spoiling the fun in the classical sense.

Twenty/20 crick though is most exciting and entertainment form of cricket, it will defenitely effect the quality of batting and bowling adversely as it is mainly hard hiotting and there is no place for technique either in bowling or batting.
