Soda. I grew up and live in the North East.
I have a friend from South Carolina who claimed that where he was from all carbonated bevrages were refered to as coke. I.E.
Waitress: What would you like to drink?
Customer: I'll have a Coke.
Waitress: What kind?
Customer: 7up.

From upstate NY and up here we call it Soda in the morning hours from 6am to 12pm and Pop from 1201pm to 559am!
Lets just say I really havent payed attention.
