we're doing shakespearean insults, and i need to know what canker blossom is. i can't find it on the english dictionary. also, vacant, fat-kidneyed, clotpole, saucy,pale hearted, hedge pig,yeasty, lean-witted, jack-a-nape,peevish,muddy-mettled,egg-shell,lewd, rump-fed,nut-hook,jaded,white-livered,pantaloon,roynish,ill-nurtured, and rudesby. thanks! i know that's a lot, but IF YOU KNOW JUST ONE OR TWO, PLEASE HELP! A canker blossom is a blossom eaten by the canker-worm. Rump-fed means pampered, or else fed on offal Here is the glossary you need to interpret Shakespearean invective:

canker-blossom = that which blasts a blossom like a canker - a diseased flower
vacant = vague
peevish = easily irritated
saucy = cheeky
pale hearted = cowardly, weak
lean-witted = not very clever
jaded = tired
rudesby = ill-mannered
yeasty = agitated
muddy-mett'led = spiritless
fat-kidneyed = gross, clumsy
nut-hook = thief

I remember doing that Freshman yeah. They don't really mean anything..the worst it could mean is idiot...lint-licker
