It proves that you neeed the desire and ambition to perform. Sachin and Saurav have earned enough accolades and money that they dont go that extra bit to win matches.

I disagree.

If Rahul Gandhi,Priyanka Gandhi are doing well then it does not mean that Sonia Gandhi should step down, lol

Ok, here goes to serious answer-

Sachin,Saurav & Rahul are good enough to play in the one day & test team. They have a lot of experience. They add a lot to our team.

No team can take India lightly when those big names are in the side.

And by the way, those 3 players have won a lot of matches for the country.

The young fellows in the team right now rock. That's for sure. But i don't think that just because they won the Twenty20 World Cup ,[which is a great achievement by the way] we should lose faith in Sachin Saurav and as such. They may not have always been in their best form but those guys deserve a lot of respect as they step up ,at least most of the time , and have brought glory to India in the foeld of Cricket atleast in some point in their career

No ways, both 20-20 and ODI's are different format of games. In ODI's u have to show ur skills and talent, which sachin and saurav really have it in them but in 20-20 u have to show ur power and by anyways put the ball outside the boundary line. 20-20 requires hard hitter of the ball but ODI's require brilliant timings and nothing else. How can anybody think that sachin and saurav should be out of ODI's. Both are great asset to indian cricket team.

Twenty/20 and ODI are different forms of cricket. While Twenty/20 cricket is purely a game of youngsters, there is still place foe seniors in ODI. One cannot all of a sudden drop the senior players and induct youngsters in the team, but it should be done gradually. As per indications available, in future series, there will be defenitely rotation of players and this will help which players perform well and accordingly induct them in the team in place of seniors.

We can't say young India have won against all teams comfortably. They are still to learn how to keep themselves cool under pressure situation. I think the trio (sachin, saurav and rahul) should be there for few more matches till the young India gets enough confidence. Let us see how they will perform in the next australia series.

20-20 is very different from ODI's and tests matches,in longe rversion of the game you need players with experience, skills and techniques. So dont write off Sachin and sourabh.

Remember, sachin was the highest run scorer in Eng-ind ODI series. The world cup victory has highlighted few talented youngsters for india who can becoem the future, like Rohit Sharma,Gambhir and Joginder sharma

No buddy you are wrong. 20-20 is a fast game and the players depend more on their luck in the game. But Talents, Skills, and Consistency are shown in ODIs and Test matches.

NO
ODI isnt Twenty20
We need long inniings in ODI, that we expect from both of them, and haven't they been scoring a lot of 70s and 80s lately?
