I know it is not really legal in the usa,but, there are active polygamy cites(or cult groups) in arizona and utah. Are you following the warren jeffs trial. goole him he is the polygomist leader on trail right now in the utah court system.

nicely, arguing from the point of view that the regulation exists to guard people, and thinking polygamy does not relatively harm anybody, i do no longer see a considerable subject with it being criminal. added: the reality that one group of polygamists had subject concerns with pedophilia isn't grounds for brushing off polygamists as an entire.

No state in the US.

The last state -- Utah -- was required to make it illegal as a condition for allowing it to become a state.
