Crawling on the kitchen floor. I think I had an Oreo.

My earliest memory occured when I was 2 years old and on vacation in the Rockies with my parents. I remember I was sitting next to my mom on a very big boulder at the edge of a beautiful mountain lake. The last bit from that memory was that we were eating something, probably for lunch since it was daytime. Good times...

When I tell people this they usually don't believe me. My first memory was waking up in a dark area emmersed in liquid. The most distinguishing thing I saw was a red and a blue blob. I had no recollection of where I was and up until now couldn't describe it because it happened earliest in my life and had no knowledge to support the situation. (I existed but could not think) I can only conclude that I was in the womb, sometime before birth since the only other early memory happened when I was four and we were moving houses.

Even as a small kid, I remember being in a place where I couldn't move and everything was light pink. I think it would be while I was inside my mom... but the colour was too light and not dark at all.
Other than that, I remember falling off the edge of my bed and hitting the full-plate glass doors for the closet. I also remember my dad trying to pick me up while I was covered with tons of pieces of broken mirror.

I don't know how old I was, but I remember being on a black and white tiled kitchen floor with my mom & grandmother. They were taking turns throwing my pacifier in the kitchen garbage can and then taking it out. Then one of them gave it to me to throw away. I remember not being able to reach it in the bottom of the can and they wouldn't get it out for me. One of them got up and took it away and the other one tossed me in the air a few times to distract me but I only had eyes for that garbage can! (I think this is why I never gave my son a pacifier!)
The other early memory I have is around 2. Sitting on the crossed legs of an old up-turned wooden picnic table in my grandparents yard. My sister was on one leg & I was on the other playing horsie. The white paint on the table was flaking off and sticking to my legs & poking me, but it was too much fun riding so I kept getting back on.

I remember my grandmother changing my diaper, I believe I was 2.
I also remember eating too many children's orange flavored asprin and having to go to the hospital. I was 2 then.
Again, when I was about 2 I remember my mom dropping my dad at the Bremerton National Guard where he worked at that time, and her kissing him goodbye. I remember it being really early in the morning, and the car was cold, and I remember smelling leather from the carseats.

Going to a birthday party and fighting with another little girl over a carrot, and figuring out how to open the fridge to get my own. I was somewhere between 18 & 24 months, according to my Mom. Its very vague.

Pulling the sheets off my baby bed. There were pictures of lambs on the mattress. Probably between 6 months and a year old.

Going to the eye doctors when I was two years old, sitting up in the big chair on a couple of phone books (don't think there were booster seats in those days.)
I especially remember returning to the doctors office a few weeks later, getting my glasses and being so happy that I could see everything so clearly and not have to hold the comics and books up to my nose to see everything
I thank God every day for my vision and still love to read everything I can....there aren't enough hours in the day still.

My first lucid memory was a few weeks after my third birthday, when my brother was born. I thought he was going to be a big baby and be able to play with me. When I realized how small and helpless he was, I told my Mom to send him back because I didn't want him lol.
