i bought 3 fish and they had three babies and i was wondering how long does it take for a fish to grow??? thanx

the gish is a platie and is in a seperate breeding tank!

They're capable of breeding at 4-6 months, and are about full sized by then. The exact length of time may depend on the temperature, feeding, and number of fish in the tank/water changes when the fish are young.

Your fish might eat the babies. Fish don't really have parental instincts and they tend to prey on smaller fish. It's probably safer to move the babies to a smaller, separate holding place until they're big enough to play with their larger buddies. How fast they grow will depend on what breed they are.

yup what are they?
I'm assuming guppies, mollies, platies or swordtails if they have babies...
they should grow fairly quickly, but I can't say for sure...

oh and do separate the babies if possible....

You should separate the babies from their parents if you want to keep them. If you don't, they are very likely to get eaten.

it takes about the same time it takes bob dole to grow after taking a blue pill. hope this helps!
