Hmmm, sounds to me as though your husband's internal thermometer may be slightly off-kilter, if he insists that it's "cold" out when it's 100 + degrees outside... is he from an extremely hot, humid climate, originally or something? Even then, I'm sure most people would agree that 100 degrees + is VERY HOT... not terribly normal, I'm afraid, for him to want to dress in a hat and sweats... perhaps he should see a doctor about it. Is he running a fever? Sometimes, running a fever can make a person feel cold, even though the temperature in the room / outside may be normal or even hot. That might be something to check out as well... try taking his body temperature the next time he complains he's cold when it's really hot. The reading you get might help shed some light on the situation.

Hope this helps!

Iron has nothing to do with it.... blood circulation does however.... I think it is probably a case of personal preference.... My wife and I have the same problem too.... she wants the ceiling fan on and the window cracked open even if it is 30 degrees outside.

What you fail to mention is how cold do you have the AC set ?I don't care if it is 150 degrees out if you have the AC set at 70 then he very well could be cold.

I have the same problem with my wife ,she is always cold. When we go some places in the summer I
turn the ac on in the car,and she is wearing 2 sweaters. This has been going on for 30 years.I came to the conclusion that some people are naturally cold and there is nothing that can be done about it. Sorry to tell you but be prepared to put up with this forever.

80 degrees is not comfortable to normal people. It is too warm. If he is really thin, that could be a factor. You can not take off enough clothes to get cool, but he can put on enough to be warm, so he should dress warmer and let you be cool. You are normal, he is NOT, what will happen when you go into menopause? You will not be able to hang in 80 degrees especially when you get hot flash power surges. He should go to the doctor and see what is wrong with him. Something is wrong his thermostat is broken.

Girl, he's got issues. So does mine. The hotter it is, the better he likes it. I think he's part snake. But the fact of the matter is, he can bundle up, but I can't go naked, so he has to be the one to suffer. I compromised by letting the thermostat stay at 80º when that's really warm to me, even in this 115º weather, but compromise is what it's all about. I draw the line at 80º, though, unless he wants me in my birthday suit for ALL to see!
