Do you cry when your husband or boyfriend yells at you :( ?

From the boyfriend's P.O.V:
My girlfriend was abused really badly in her past (I didn't know until recently), I yelled at her once because she broke a glass - I know, I over reacted. She didn't just cry, she curled up against the wall, started hyperventilating, apologising every few seconds and whimpering.

I felt so bad, she cried for hours, even after she calmed down. She refused to talk to me for days, it's alright now, this was long ago and I haven't yelled at her since.

I guess I am lucky. My husband doesn't yell at me. He never has. We are very happily married with 3 children. I have been in abusive relationships before though. I sure appreciate the way my hubbie is now because of it.

Noone wants to be yelled at.

My dad yells at me. He yells everyday. I've learned that if he gets so mad and he hits me, I can call the police. I'm not so afraid anymore, but I still cry because he takes his anger out on me.

I used to have a boyfriend who would make me cry all the time. He was always angry about something. Then the tears dried up, cause I didnt have any left- I was all cried out...then he got peeved cause I wouldnt cry- I couldnt win. LOL I am so glad he is over.

I wouldn't be with a man who yelled at me. And, I certainly wouldn't cry over him or his words. If he yells, he isn't worth my time.

my husband rarely yells hes a pretty laid back person. and when he does yell i have no need to cry.

If my boyfriend or husband yelled at me, i'd kick his teeth down his throat.

Don't have either, but if I did, and I trusted and looked up to them, then by myself (not around them!) I likely would. It depends on the situation...I might just get mad and yell back.

No but also he isn't much of a screamer and when he yells at me i usually just walk off. I don't give in to temper tantrums.
