No, she will probably be a good influence on you. She is 26 so she is probably more mature and will not be into a lot of the things some girls your age are into. If she is mature and a true friend, she can help you deal with peer pressure and help you not go down some roads better left alone.
I'm 38 and that is my honest opinion...

No there's nothing wrong w/having a friend that is older than u...there's nothing wrong w/dating someone older than u either, don't ever let anyone tell u otherwise....alot of married couples *parents & grandparents* have ALOT of age difference between them & they don't want they're children to do the same thing...it's such a double standard.

No there is nothing wrong with having a 26 year old friend as long as they don't lead you to do anything inappropriate, which in this case she wouldn't.

Do you like her? Do you want to be her friend?
Then who cares how old she is? YOU?
I have friends from age 5 to 60 something.
I like the diversity. Everyone has a different point of view.

well it's not like your dating sorry but had to put that out there so no it's not wrong to have an older woman as a friend they call that having a mentor in most cases.

Why on earth would it be wrong? I have always had friends of all ages. I am fifty, I have 2yr old friends all the way up to eighty yr old friends. Same when i was eight.

no, i am 24, and i have a friend that is 15, she doesn't have a mother and i just make sure that i give her good advice and lead her in the right direction.
