An idea that might be helpful......if you can attach some velcro to the lamb and hang it from the highest point in the crib. That way it's in the crib with her, but it's still safe for your daughter.

i assume i became purely blessed with an incredible baby...or an overly sleepy one like his father. My son is an identical age and has been dozing throughout the time of the night for the reason that he became six weeks previous. on party, he wakes up at approximately 4 interior the morning, I stroll to his room, get him out of the crib, on the instant placed him interior the feeding place. sit down interior the rocker, rock him mutually as feeding, he falls back to sleep in my hands, I look ahead to him to be in a deep sleep and then I lay him back off, mutually as patting him as though i'm nonetheless rocking him. he's positive, and that i circulate back to sleep. i think of my baby sleeps greater because of the fact he sleeps on his abdomen. (I dont choose any comments approximately this from all you different mom and dad who think of he cant breathe or some thing.) he won't sleep on his back for better than twenty minutes at a time. perchance he isnt mushy while going back to sleep? once you first placed him down around ten, what are the situations? Is it thoroughly quiet interior the homestead, is there a television on, did you sing him to sleep, did you rock him, and so on. perchance he's hooked up some thing with sleep and could in basic terms circulate back to sleep if that 'some thing' is back. sturdy success. And oh yeah, maximum individuals tell me that i'm insanely fortunate that he sleeps as long as he does, and that i'm specific somewhat some human beings listed under are going to tell you to easily be chuffed that he's dozing as much as he's. i understand somewhat some couples who are not getting greater that 4 hours of sleep at a time and their young infants are lots older. 5 and a a million/2 hours rather isnt that undesirable (from what I hear, lol)

how old is your child? You are not suppose to have anything in the crib. However, when my daughter was just born, I had a lavendar scented lamb that had a heartbeat sound that I put in the corner of the crib. I kept it in there until she was about 5 weeks old and started squirming around in her crib.

You could set it outside the crib, on a table - or if it has velcro tabs on the back you could just wrap them around a crib rail with the lamb on the outside.

As a rule it's best to take all stuffed animals away from the crib when the baby as sleeping, as they could pose a suffocation risk if baby rolls on to them.

I hace 4 children and all of them had at least one teddy in the cot with them but I kept it in one of the corners away from their head. My youngest daughter is 16mths old and has a giant teddy she sleeps with (it's almost bigger than her!) I check on her several times at night to make sure it's not over her face but at that age I think their pretty safe as they are always moving themselves and toys when they're asleep anyway.

Nothing soft in the crib until baby can pick her face up out of anythign she might roll into...Blankets, pillows, stuffed animals...they're all dangerous becuase the baby can roll or turn into them and if she can't pull away she'll rebreath her air which will suffocate her.

Depends on the age of the child. My son is now 17 months old and he sleeps with a stuffed elephant that he loves, but I NEVER let him sleep with one before that. Also you need to make sure nothing on it is a choking hazard. . .like no buttons that can be pulled off, or ribbons, stuff like that.

my baby is 9mths and she still dosent move around her cot, shes got around 5 stuffed toys in there and has since birth, but i do put them at the bottom end of the cot, cos she wriggles upwards and has since birth
if your baby starts moving around and could risk suffocating on them, take them out till shes at least 18mths old, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
