My cramps are really bad too, but I've had my period since I was twelve (I'm 18 now). I used to take Tylenol Extra Strength, and it would relieve me within a couple of hours. For my last period, I took Tylenol when my cramps were mild, but that it didn't help at all. So my mom gave me Advil, which really helped. Advil, Midol, and Ibuprofen are good medicines for menstural cramps. Choose one that works best for you. You need to have a full stomach to take Ibuprofen. Good luck, hope you feel better.

try tea with nutmeg in it.....

I had a hard time with cramps in my teens too.....

This won't help you tonight but I will give you this piece of advise......take a dose of pain reliever everyday for 3 days before you are expecting your period.....so if you are expecting your period on the 15th the you should take 1 dose of pain reliever on the 12th, 13th and 14th regardless of whether you are in pain or not. This helps alleviate pain from cramps during your period....it also can shorten the length of your period. Mine used to last 5-6 days....now its about 3 or 4 at the most. Continue taking the pain reliever as needed during your period until its all over. good luck tonight.....try to get some heat on it as soon as you can.

Track your periods, don't eat a lot of sweets the week before it comes and drink plenty of water.. Also, there's Midol to relive almost all menstral symptoms in most women... ;)

My sister says that she knows how you feel, she has the same problem every time she has her period. Sometimes she eat, to make her stomach full, so it will minimise her stomach cramps. Try to drink plenty of warm water, it will help with the stomach cramps.

the best thing for u to do is shut off the lights and just go to bed, u can't take a warm bath and that is what always works for me, but since u can't do that and u have taken some meds u can't take anymore so goodnite!

I don't want this to sound gross but apply pressure to the area...that sometimes works...or try lying down and putting your knees up...if they're really bad, call a doctor and see what they suggest! I hope you feel better!
