Well, the original Gaelic form is Cinnéidigh, but since Kennedy is a fairly trendy name generally used by parents who don't actually have any Celtic heritage, that might seem an odd choice.
If the middle name is set, and obviously the surname is also a K name, I think I'd simply keep looking. The initials KKK are definitely bad, and unnecessarily so. After all, it's not like you couldn't avoid that ONE letter when choosing a first name, know what I mean? I'd do your child a favor and stick with one of the many other available initials.
Edited to add: I'm surprised at the number of comments stating that the initials aren't that problematic or that no one will even notice them. From personal experience, I know of a K.K. who was CONSTANTLY asked if her middle name was "Katherine" (or some other K name) -- it was not a K, thank goodness -- and if her parents were racist, purposefully giving her such initials. And as I said, she didn't even HAVE the triple K! Please don't listen to such uninformed comments. It's one thing to use a name you love regardless of anyone else's opinion, but quite another to use one that you KNOW is problematic and potentially hurtful to your child. She WILL get KKK comments -- please don't just *hope* no one notices! LOL -- her friends, and their parents, may think your family either racist or ignorant and she may even be overlooked by potential employers and such who simply do not think KKK would well-represent their company on a letterhead. I mean seriously.

Personally, I don't think it would be bad, but I have a name that was hard for kids to make fun of in school. I can imagine the day they teach about the Ku Klux Klan in history class, she will get teased a lot. She'll probably get teased a bit more if she actually uses her middle name, rather than just saving it for official documents like some do. If you are set on that name then use it, but be prepared for her to come home upset every now and then once school starts. And Kennedy with a C would be really strange and change the pronunciation.

Don't give your child the KKK monogram, and don't change the spelling of Kennedy. Either pick a different first name, or do away with Kennedy. If you change it to some alternate spelling, no one will be able to pronounce it. She'll be correcting people for the rest of her life. It might seem cute now, but she's the one who will be answering to it forever.
If Kennedy is the family name, then what's the point of giving it to her if it's not spelled correctly?

I would leave Kennedy spelled as it is. Perhaps you could spell her middle name with a C. Most people do not use their middle names OR initials if you really think about it.
However my opinion....Only immature people ( or little kids) would taunt someone with the initials KKK . I am positive there are others in the world dealing with the same thing.
I have known folks with the initials FEM; LLC and others.

You always have to think about having kids at school tease her! If you have a name that rhymes with something or initials that spell out something you will get teased for it, kids get creative.
You can spell it anyway you want... it's your baby. But Cennedy (sen-ne-dee) is not the same pronunciation as Kennedy so she will always be correcting people.

Definitely don't change the spelling. Is there a way you can stick another middle name in there? A lot of people have two middle names, so it wouldn't be that unusual, but those initials by themselves will get her a lot of grief. I know -- my dad's initials spell MEAN, and to this day my aunt teases him (good-naturedly) about it.

Usually I tell people not to worry about what the little brat kids will do to a name, but KKK is too much.... just because of my personal hatred of that particular group of chicken fu**ers....
There is not a way to spell Kennedy any other way without it sounding like you were inbred like the KKK members.

No, I don't think it's bad. It might be more confusing trying to use a c in kennedy. Besides, this litte girl is going to grow up one day and perhaps change her last name anyway. It could be worse, my uncle had GAS and my friend had BO! As for my son, he was AAA. He named his daughter Kitana Katelyn, so with the first 3 letters of each name, she is nick named Kit Kat. Still better than Snickers. lol

Yes it is but that is my opinion. If you really are concerned with the initals change the 1st name to a different letter. Because it wouldn't look right Kennedy starting with a C.
