I believe in life. I believe that under no circumstances are we allowed to play God and end life at human hands. If you are "mature" enough to decide to have sex, then you should be mature enough to pay ALL its consequences.
Even if in the situation of rape or incest, it is still not our "choice" to end life. I personally could not raise a child who was born from such a gruesome act... but I would not want that child killed either - just it's father put behind bars forever. Therefore that child would be raised by others, preferably far away.
No one deserves to die at the hands of another. No matter if that human is only a cluster of multiplying cells, a grumpy old man, or anywhere in between.
I used to think pro life for me... none of my business for the rest...so I would vote pro choice.......
But I wanted cereal killers, terrorists, and other criminals to be brought to justice because of the lives they took, often violently and painfully. Why would I not want the lives of unborn children spared as well?
Who knows if one of those unborn children was to grow up to find a cure for cancer, find the secret to world peace, or be named Agnes by her parents and grow up to be called Mother Teresa of Calcutta?
It is just not our call to make.

When I was 19, I became pregnant, and went to the Doctor. I was not even six weeks along. Immediately, I began having more severe problems, (I had been bleeding for days) and went back to the Doctor where he informed me I was starting to lose the baby. He claimed I could try to hold out and continue to carry the baby, though it would be born still-born and not born at term, or I could have an "abortion" (A D&C, they called it, too) to end the baby's life then, and cause no more pain and suffering to either of us.
After sevreal days, I chose the latter. I felt very guilty, but I knew I could not continue with me-or the baby-in that much pain.
The woman who performed it on me let me hear the heartbeat, thinking I wanted to, but in all honestly, I just felt more awful. It barely registered, and I knew then the baby was dying slowly.
Now, five years later, I still think about it, and I light a candle in memory of him or her.
I also was blessed to have 2 beautiful healthy children after that! My daughter turns 4 in October, and my son just turned 1. :)
Adoption: Yep! :) It's a wonderful gift.

I believe that in some cases abortion is absolutely necessary. Especially if the woman was a victim of rape, incest, or her life is in danger and she may die because of a pregnancy.
I do not believe that other people should enforce their moral viewpoints on people and make them feel negatively if they should choose to have an abortion, as it is currently (and hopefully forever) protected by the constitution of the United States of America. Not everyone believes in G-d, and not everyone believes that their G-d thinks it is a sin to terminate a pregnancy. There should be a definite separation of Church and State.

Adaption:
Noun 1. adaption - the process of adapting to something (such as environmental conditions)
Um... I'm guessing that you didn't mean to write this word, but the one below.
A-D-O-P-T-I-O-N
Adoption:
a·dop·tion –noun
1. the act of adopting: the adoption of a new amendment.
2. the state of being adopted
A-D-O-P-T
Adopt:
a·dopt·ed, a·dopt·ing, a·dopts
1. To take into one's family through legal means and raise as one's own child.
2. To take and follow (a course of action, for example) by choice or assent: adopt a new technique.
3. To take up and make one's own: adopt a new idea.
4. To take on or assume: adopted an air of importance.
5. To vote to accept: adopt a resolution.
6. To choose as standard or required in a course: adopt a new line of English textbooks.
In my opinion, adopting a child can be a very good thing, depending on the situation. Many couples can't have children naturally, and adoption is their only choice.
However, there should be more emphasis on birth control, starting in the school system, instead of only abstinence only education. People are going to have sex, regardless of what others may think, and they should be fully informed of the consequences.

depends on the situation .......
abortion is ok in some situations like the baby not surviving outside the womb. then a spontaneous abortion which is just a miscarriage
adoption i prefer over abortion any day and if the mom/dad don't want to care for or can't care for the baby then adoption or not having any sex at all is there best choice.

I believe in both depending on the circumstances.
Clearly none of the people who say abortion is murder have ever been sexually abused by a member of their family and fallen pregnant. Aside from the emotional distress of going through a pregnancy in those circumstances there is also the real possibility of birth deformities given that the same bloodline was involved in the 'making' of the baby.
I believe everyone has the right to choose and no-one EVER should judge them for their decision and their reasoning behind it. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes before you rush to judgement.

i am very pro-choice
but that does not mean i think abortion is just fine and dandy....it's a very serious choice to make and far too many happen
but this means that girls and woman need better access to birth control ....have you seen in the news that financial help in obtaining birth control has been put on the back burner??....how many women are not going to be able to afford their control method and fall pregnant?
adoption is in no way a terrible thing....but those ppl in here saying there are thousands of couples waiting to adopt....that is a silly and very incorrect hasty conclustion......if this is the case then why are there still thousands of kids in the system???
if you are so against abortion then are YOU going to step up and help that pregnant mother get thru her pregnancy and then raise that child or help her financially??...NO....and don't gripe when your tax money goes to pay for that child either
i truly believe there are many situations where it is completely inappropriate for a girl/woman to carry on with her pregnancy .......but what is even more inappropriate is that she became pregnant in the first place

I had an abortion at 17 it was a big mistake. But adoption is not always the answer either. Children are a true gift from god and need to be cherished.

Adoption, I don't believe in abortions.
Because even though a child isn't full term or big enough to live outside the mothers body doesn't mean it isn't a human, I believe it is created for a reason, they have a reason for the world, and they shouldn't be killed because the people who are supposed to love them the most don't want them or don't feel like going through what they have to in order to have them, unless it is life or death. Adoption is a better option because there are couples out there who can't have children and would love and cherish the child better and that child would have a chance to be what it was created to be in the world.

Abortion - no. The abililty to create life is an awesome power that we have been blessed with, and we have a responsibility to do so carefully. We do NOT have the right to take life, especially that of an unborn child. The procedure basically vacuums a fetus out in sections, separating the arms, legs, and head from the torso. It's barbaric and inhumane.
Adoption - of course. What's not to believe? It's an awesome opportunity for a child whose parent's were unable to care for him to be paired up with a couple or a parent who is unable to conceive on their own or who chooses adoption over conception. It's an awesome thing.

Adoption - - - abortion is the end of a life. I don't feel like I or anyone else on earth is worthy of deciding who lives and who dies. I'd personally rather leave that up to God.
