As for pants...I'm living in sweats and basketball shorts. Lol they are what is comfy to me. I have purchased 3/4 shirts for if we go out for an evening I will have a nice shirt to wear and so I have a nice shirt for Christmas dinner...baby is due after the first of the year. No point in wasting a ton of money on maternity clothes in my opinion. I bought cheap sweats and love to steal my honey's t shirts! I had a lot of clothes that were already really stretchy those are great too.

I was lucky, I didn't have to buy any maternity clothes until I was about 7 months along. You can only "up-size" your clothes for so long but keep in mind that when that belly gets round, those bigger clothes aren't going to fit right because they won't stretch the way you body needs them to. Don't fret. Most of the maternity clothes out there are way cute now and mucho comfortable. If you're lucky, you'll even find some that dont' look like their for pregnant women and still get your money's worth after you have that baby!!

I did not wear maternity clothing until about 7-8 months, but I did buy a few things that were maternity... jeans, khaki's and a few shirts. A lot of stuff I either borrowed or squeezed into (sweatshirts, etc).

The jeans were a lifesavor because even if I would have bought a larger pair, the maternity ones really were most comfortable for the last few weeks.

So far I haven't had to buy any, but when my stomach gets bigger I will buy maternity clothes instead of just buying a bigger size, because maternity clothes are made to fit around a pregnant belly, a bigger size probably wouldn't accomodate your stomach too well.

I bought mine at www.oldnavy.com. I'm petite and they fit me really well, unlike most in the store that are huge. Buying a bigger size only works for a few weeks, but you will need actual maternity clothes.

When I was pregnant I never got around to maternity clothes, I just wore my mothers clothes because she was about 2 or 3 sizes bigger then when I grew out of those I just wore stretchy pants and big t-shirts. So, to answer your question I purchased bigger sizes because they were more affordable and still some of those pants and even capris I still wear. Well, I hope that helps. :-)

No maternity clothes for me. I got longer shirts that are formed fitted and some of my pants still fit. I also bought some grey comfy capris and long tank tops. I am 35 weeks and 3 days so I think I won't be needing any maternity clothes if I've made it this far.

Maternity clothes of course :-)..... Bigger clothes are big all around. Slacks/jeans are longer, shirts/t-shirts are to big around the sleeves and too long and honestly toward the end of your pregnancy your belly is so big, you really need maternity clothes.

I found this great 2nd hand store and bought most of my clothes there. Most of them where high end designer clothes and I saved about 75% on them..

Tons of maternity clothes, cute ones. I mostly shopped at Motherhood and Target, Pea in the Pod when I could afford it. I have since been able to pass on my wardrobe to my best friend who is now pregnant, and she will save them for me if I get pregnant again. I LOVED shopping when I was pregnant, I could wear things I would otherwise feel self conscious in.

Oh yeah, and a pair of scrubs for around the house, my neighbors thought I was a nurse:) they were SOO comfy.

i offered maternity clothing because of the fact it made me experience better approximately my abdomen. when I wore accepted clothing that have been larger, i found I purely appeared heavy and not as lots pregnant. i became no longer small to commence, so I already had somewhat to triumph over interior the 'i seem fat' branch. i found that with maternity clothing I in basic terms had to purchase some products and turn them out and in. I even have 3 pairs of pants (denims, black pants, and khakis) and approximately 4 shirts. I even have 2 camis (one black, one white) to circulate under clothing. and that's all I even have offered. I made specific to purchase maternity clothing that i like for accepted clothing. in general for the reason which you will placed on maternity for a mutually as once you furnish. additionally, I never had to purchase diverse sizes while turning out to be with maternity. this is the factor, they accomodate your turning out to be abdomen, thighs, butt, and so on.
