UNfortunately for Reggie Bush, he's playing behind a pitiful offensive line right now. And if you know ANYTHING about football you know that a runner, no matter how good he is, can't do much without having a good offensive line in front of him. Without that, he's got no place to go. Right now Drew Brees, has no pass blocking so he can't get a passing game going. Everyone knows that they're going to run, and you can't really get a solid running game going, if you can't throw a good number of passing plays in there...
Do I think he's a LITTLE overrated? Yeah, a little. He's certainly not the most overrated. I think Philip Rivers is the MOST overrated player out there right now. He's a GOOD quarterback, not one of the elite in the league. He however DOES benefit from having an incredible offensive line in front of him. He also has an ever present run threat in Ladanian Tomlinson, and Antonio Gates who'll catch anything in the same zip code.
Rivers is good, but certainly not in the same class as guys like Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, or Brett Favre.

I agree with you that Reggie Bush is a little over-hyped but overrated I'm not ready to say yet since this is only his second year in the league and he looks like a player that has the ability to be great. I think Michael Vick was the most overrated football player of all-time. This guy was label one of the top QB's in the league and he never accomplished anything. He was never a good passing QB and all these so called experts always talked about how dangerous he was with his legs yet good NFL teams can stop any QB who can't throw the ball accurately. This guy was labeled the most exciting player in the league and everything yet I guess I must have missed all those playoff wins and Superbowl wins that he had. I couldn't be happier that he isn't not playing right now and if he never plays football again I'm sure no one will notice that the most overrated QB in history is no longer playing in the NFL.

authentic, in basic terms for precise now Reggie Bush has no longer lived as much as the hype; yet. yet their is not any doubt in my recommendations that the call of Mr. puffed up belongs to Daunte Culpepper. i'm no longer able to overdo it and say anybody picked the Dolphins, yet there have been extremely some people who picked the Dolphins to make the finished Bowl (activities Illustrated), and there is not any way they are able to with Daunte. without Moss, Daunte has no longer been waiting to do something.

No I don't think so, he's a multi-position player and I don't think Sean Payton is using him just right. Whats up with all the people saying Payton Manning? What football do you watch? I agree he needs to get that YPC up a little more, but I think more TDs will come, he just scored one. Plus the O-line hasn't been playing very good this season.

I can't believe how stupid some of these people are. Brett Favre? The guy has been a one-man team the last few years. He had to throw it up to have ANY chance to win. Now that he has some other players, Favre is back to normal. Manning is two-time MVP himself. One guy can't win a Super Bowl. These jerks will search every dumb angle to deny the truth. Bush is the easiest player to tackle that I've ever seen. He sucks - period!

Well Reggie Bush doesn't really have the typical nfl position he's just an amazing athlete. He'll have huge games but he'll never be a great player.

You answerers are ridiculous! How in the hell can Peyton and LT be considered over-rated? LT has 3 TDs in 3 games. He had a record breaking season last year, do you expect him to break his own records every year?

yeah hes still pretty much living off of it. next year if he doesnt improve those numbers he wont be talked about as much, just like carson palmer and matt leinart.
hes def. not the most overrated because its gotta be a qb like phil rivers or peyton manning in hes pre-superbowl days
edit: peyton manning i think they mean before he won the super bowl because everyone talked about them winning the super bowl because peytons finally gonna have that big year, but it didnt happen for a while

i don't think he was that talented to start with. if u watch the USC games this season their running backs are getting good yards and having catches. i think its more of the Pete Carol offense than Reggie bush's talent.
