No, I don't. The act of dying, maybe scary, like if I were to die in some horrid way, but to be dead? Gone? No, that I don't fear. In some sense it actually just seems to make sense that like everything else, life too will come to and end at some point. Don't get me wrong I'm not in a hurry or anything, theres many things I would still like to do, and I hope I get time.......but I have no fear of death; to me death will be like sleeping, an eternal sleep if you will.

I don't fear death in and of itself. Regardless of what comes after death, it would relieve me of all fear, worry, and concerns I might have in life, and that's a net benefit.
I fear leaving things undone. I have a list of things I'd like to accomplish before it happens, and it bothers me to think that they might not get finished without me to pursue them. Even without the concept of St. Michael at the gates of heaven ready to rate my life, I can't help but think that at the end of it all, perhaps on my deathbed, there will be an opportunity to tally up my score. There is so much left to do.
It saddens me to leave behind those that I'm close to, and I fear THEIR death. My own? Not so much.

Yes. I'm a Christian but I think everyone is human to a certain degree and fears pain or whatever their cause of death may be. I know that I will be able to overcome, but it's still a bit scary.

A great question!
I do not fear death because I know and accept that one day I’ll die. As badly as we want to extend our lives we will one day become worm food.
It happens.
But with that acceptance of my fate, I push so much more into my life. I work to feed my family, I write to feed my soul, I accept a free drink at the pub, I laugh, I play, I love and I learn. I do not worry about trivial things such as death…after all, there’s too much to do that’s important!

Not at all. My only concern is for those that I will leave behind. I see death as being similar to outgrowing your clothes. When my body doesn't fit anymore or it is too worn out, then I leave my body behind. The spirit continues to exist.
