My senior prom was the best night of my life. I went with someone very special, who ended up being my boyfriend (who is now my ex). Anyway, when you get to prom, you will get photographs taken of you and your date, done by professionals. You can order the photos. Then you'll probably eat dinner (depends if your school will serve it). Then you'll hit the dance floor and dance the night away! Choose a nice dress, but try to get it for a good price. I got my prom dress at Macy's and it only cost $60, compared to the other dresses the girls wore. Wear make-up and get your hair done by a professional or friend. My cousin, who is studying to be a cosmotologist, did my hair and I got so many compliments all night. You can take a limo or party trolley to prom, but they cost so much money. Try to carpool with friends, or have your date drive. My date's parents drove us, because we couldn't afford a limo or trolley.

If you go with a male friend, you don't have to kiss him. Don't worry about that ok. Don't even worry about if you're a good dancer or not. The whole objective of prom is just to have a great time before you graduate high school. Hope you have fun!

Also bring a disposable camera so you can capture the memories. And a small purse to hold your stuff.
