im only 13 but i need a laptop for like school and stuff. i'd like to babysit but my mom says i need a certificate. like with the red cross or something. what else can i do to earn money?

No money? Then just revive a desktop. You will just get Carpal Tunnel syndrome on a laptop before you reach 18.

Try delivering papers or walking pets (if you are not allergic). If you have aunts, uncles, grandparents etc - ask to complete light chores for them (my nephews clean our cars).
The course is around $50 and it is well worth it. The cousin we use on the weekends to babysit our kids took the course (at our urging) and made the cost of the course back within her first week because she babysits for a few family members and neighbors (and she took the course in the summer)

get a job, do extra chores around the house, borrow it from somebody.
