Rollin' With The Flow
By Charlie Rich
Once was a thought inside my head,
Fore Id reach thirty Id be dead.
Now somehow on and on I go-o-o.
I keep on rollin with the flow.
Folks said that I would change my mind.
Id straighten up and do just fine.
Ahh, but I still love rock and ro-o-oll.
I keep on rollin with the flow.
I dont guide my age on raisin kicks.
Im raisin hell just like I did.
Ive got a lot of crazy friends,
And they forgive me of my sins.
Some might be callin me a bum.
But Im still out there havin fun.
And Jesus loves me, yes, I kno-o-ow.
So, I keep on rollin with the flow.
(keep on rollin with the flow)

I love that song Rollin With The Flow, its always been one of my favorites, but I have so many and they're mostly all 70's tunes. "All These Things" by Joe Stampley comes to mind. Great song!

That's The Way Love Goes is one. It has been recorded by a few different singers, but I like the Merle Haggard version. His other version with Jewel was also real good.

My stacks and stacks of vinyl are crammed in my parents' garage 200 miles from here, so all I have with me are my CDs. The list of songs that exist on vinyl and not on CD is quite extensive, but here's a short list of what I'd LOVE to find on CD, if not eventually transferring them from vinyl when I get my turntable and vinyl down here with me:

1. Woman Your Love by Moe Bandy
2. Loving You, Loving Me, Loving You by Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius, (album cut...)
3. Fantasy by Mac Davis
4. Magic Mystery by Mac Davis, for that matter
5. Mystery Woman by Jim Gold (Another album cut)
6. Anything by Jim Glaser on the two of his albums that aren't on CD
7. Something About You I Love by Johnny Paycheck, (his best song and for some reason it NEVER appears on CD...)
8. Close The Door, by Jim Ed Brown (what a coincidence...)
9. You've Found Someone To Take My Place by Johnny and Joanie Moseby
10. Take Your Hands Off My Heart by Ray Pillow

I could go on and on and on here, but it'll only make me want to get in the truck and drive the 200 miles to where my vinyl is.

By the way, I have Rollin' With The Flow on CD and it's one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite artists EVER. You've got good taste in music.

I love Cross Canadian Ragweed, they don't get much air play because they haven't sold out to Nashville.
