I'm serious: am I stupid?

not stupid like being idiotically stupid, but stupid in regular things. I said something about how women are fragile and feminists were already judging me. then I made a video and put it on you tube and I was judged again. it wasnt anything wrong in the video, I was being an activist about some issue!!!! then on some forum I said something about hair that black women have and people called me a racist. what did I said wrong? I heard that many black women have frizzy hair, so I said something but people understood as racism. I'm not a racist!!!! then I thought that I had an excellent idea for something good to do, but people didnt even bothered listening to me or I was judged again. and there were many things when I only wanted to be good, but people were judging me.

but I wasnt writing or making anything wrong, everything was completely okay and the people who made a bad comment about me were all good people. I was never with a girl before, so I really dont know anything about them, I'm so shy around them. but then I said that I see girls as fragile and I was already attacked by feminists. or I wanted to make an anti-bullying campaign but I rather stopped after few days, cause no one joined and I already saw that there must be something stupid. I only wanted to make the World better, without bullying. and many other things. so am I stupid?

I've made an anthem for my anti-bullying campaign, that anyone should be proud of themselves, no matter how we look like, but no one joined me.

but people that judged me werent bad people. they are all good, cause they were talking about their views on the World and problems, so I also told my views on the problems. and all this time I was judged. like if I dont know anything about whats going on in the World.


I'm so depressed. I hate myself. next time I wont do anything. I wont join any peace-march, I wont join demonstrations that are against nuclear power, racism, pollution and all kinds of problems. I'm gonna stay at home and play video games, cause in games no one judges me!!!! I have my opinion about the World but its not a hate-opinion. I guess I'm stupid :(

i really hate how people throw the word around racist all the time.

being racist is when you hate someone because of the colour of their skin, not saying asians have small eyes, or black people are good at basketball or white people can't dance. those are stereotypes.

and you're not being stupid at all. everyone else is just being oversensitive. trust me, it happens all the time to me. everything gets interpreted the wrong way.

You are probably not stupid, but you are certainly socially unaware. There are truth and facts, but there are also consequences for stating them in public. Some people call this political correctness. I'd rather call it making a careful speech and being aware of one's surroundings.

If you don't want to be judged, why are you taking an activist role? Activists are, by nature, judgmental about their cause, and therefore, bring out others who are equally passionate. Also, haven't you learned making comments about someone else's physical characteristics are not polite thing to do?

Also, on Internet, you can state some of the most basic truth and someone will attack you for being wrong. That's just the nature of the Internet. I would totally discredit anything you heard about yourself on the Internet.

As to women fragile.... if you are talking about absolute strength in terms of physical strength, you are probably right. Comparing the strongest woman against strongest man, and perhaps a man will win. BUT, there are plenty of women that are far stronger than average men. Also, let's not forget, physical strength is only one measurement.

Another thing... everybody judge everybody else, but usually not themselves. Get used to it, or don't make any statement. That will probably make someone judge you as a quiet one....

no you are not stupid, you're just being affected by this ridiclously politically correct world that we live in. So many people worried about offending someone or being offended. As a women I say women are more fragile than men for the most part. Saying that black women have frizzy hair does not make you a racist. Black women do tend to have frizzier hair, and I am certainly not a racist. People are just so thin skinned and offended in todays world. I say that they should get over it. you are entitled to your opinion and if you aren't saying something with intent on hurting someone thay should just grow a backbone and quit whining.

You're not stupid, you just seem to lack confidence, are a bit unsure of yourself and your potential, and you possibly say things the 'wrong way' so that they are perceived to be 'wrong' and/or offensive.
You need to bolster up your self-esteem and think before you speak on sensitive issues.
Your idea of an anti-bullying campaign was a good one. The fact that nobody tried to help you does NOT make it a bad idea. Maybe they are lacking in confidence themselves about becoming involved in tough issues that are at times seen to be ' not in style' or 'not politically correct.'

just naive. this is a society that does not tolerate others very well. u were being honest and people can not handle the opinions of others especially when they differ from their own OR if they take it personally WHICH is what most people do, because they are insecure.

I don't think your stupid, I just think your trying WAY to hard. Live your life and enjoy what makes you happy. It sounds to me like your trying to fit into a world your not comfortable with. Try something new!
