Even though other First World Nations have elected a woman to head their Governments we have not. In the circles that I travel in most people are not bothered by the idea of a woman president. However, I know there is still plenty of misogyny and sexism out there. How do you think this will affect the national election if she wins the Democratic nomination?

I sincerely hope her gender will not affect anything one way or another. People should cast their votes based on a candidate's ideas, experience, character... NOT gender (or race or religion...).

Well, as much as I'd like to see a woman be President someday, I really don't think Clinton is the right one. I will vote for a person's credentials and abilities, not their gender. Just because she is a woman, does not mean all women will vote for her. I sure won't.

Not to worry, we will never find out. She won't win in the primary, and therefore not be in the general election. That's a very good thing.

I think negatively, but even if I would vote for a woman (and at this time I would not, and I am a woman), I would NOT vote for that one.

I think it will play a huge role. I am so sick of old white men running the country to the ground. We need a change.

Nobody cares that she is a woman. It is her personality, what she has done, and her beliefs that so many will hold against her.
