A climber near the summit or a vertical cliff accidently knocks loose a large rock. She sees it shatter 8 s later at the bottom of the cliff. What was the speed of impact? How far did the rock fall?

This problem is really easy. I hope you can solve it yourself!
g = 9.8m/s^2.
speed of impact = g*t = 9.8*8 = 78 (m/s) ≈ 0.08km/s
How far did the rock fall? 0.5*v*t = 0.5*78*8 = 0.3 km
