never vetoed a single piece of legislation, but now that the Democrats are in control, he vetoes everything. Even stuff that passes through Congress unanimously. Had no trouble funding crap Republican projects.http://www.yahoo.com/s/687286

All three of his vetoes. 2 for federal funding of embryonic stem cell research ( the first one being in '06 before the new Congress took over, (R) control) and a bogus pork filled funding bill for our troops.
edit.....I know. I see on Y/A all the time how he "vetoes everything." His first veto was in '06 before the Dems took control. The next President with less vetoes than Bush was James Garfield. So to say he "vetoes everything" and has never vetoed a bill under (R) control is false. If you are trying to make an actual valid point, it wouldn't hurt to get the facts first.

The real question is, why are you such a democratic whore? If you read the article, it sounds like more stuff was added after the bills were passed By vetoing President Bush is making a statement he doesn't agree with the whole bill. He also knows that his veto will be over-ridden by Congress and be made so.
OK, to answer why you are such a democratic whore....its because you would like to get something for nothing. Or am I generalizing too much??

I agree that Bush should have vetoed the liberal spending bills passed by the Republican congress. Republicans were acting like Democrats and that is why Americans removed them from power.

- Most number of convictions and guilty pleas by friends and associates*
- Most number of cabinet officials to come under criminal investigation
- Most number of witnesses to flee country or refuse to testify
- Most number of witnesses to die suddenly
- First president sued for sexual harassment.
- First president accused of rape.
- First first lady to come under criminal investigation
- Largest criminal plea agreement in an illegal campaign contribution case
- First president to establish a legal defense fund.
- First president to be held in contempt of court
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions
- Greatest amount of illegal campaign contributions from abroad
- First president disbarred from the US Supreme Court and a state court
there is none of that present with George Bush...your question has no answer as your premise is false.

Note to the asker:
I have been active in the Democratic party for over 40 years.
I help Democratic Candidates win their election contests and I am quite successful at it.
One thing that I have learned over the years is that if you want to win elections you keep your language dignified and civil.
If you want to help us win elections for Democrats please keep your language dignified and civil.
The language that you have used in your question reflects badly on all of us.
George Bush has given us an enormous amount of material that we can use to defeat him and his Republican colleagues in the upcoming elections.
Let's keep the offensive language out of our discussions.
Thank you,
Mike
