Is there a God? If so, how do we know there is one? And how can we prove there is one?

God is completely taken on faith, therefore you can't prove that there is one. That is the whole concept of religion, blind faith in an almighty entity that you can't see or touch. Religion is how humans account for that which is beyond their power.
Science relates to religion (God) in that it also perceives a power beyond human control. But science doesn't take it all on blind faith. Science learns about the forces and increases mankinds ability to gain control over them.
My personal belief is that religion calls the forces beyond human control God and science calls those forces 'Mother Nature'. To me they are one and the same. Religious people toss their fate into the hands of God (with blind faith that he will take care of them) and science based people do everything in their power to gain control of their own destiny.
Achieving a belief in God just means having a great deal of trust in a power that is (according to religion) all powerful.

The term God is different for everyone science only deals in the known or has theories on the unknown. So what evidence is there of God atheists say none but they are silly for if God is life then there is plenty of evidence for God so it is all down to how we view God. The trouble is man made religion has nothing to do with God it is about control and one of the reasons atheists are correct in mocking the absurd customs based around silliness and foolish ideas that many would call delusional

god is a belief. simple as that. science is still trying to prove that there is a god. let me know when you figure it out.

Their is a God,
Let me ask you something;
Can you see Air? well no you cant
How do you know its their? well you can feel it.
The same with God you cant see him but you can feel him that's why i know he is real, he is with everyone sometimes we just choose to ignore him, If you want to be able to feel the Lord presence you have to get closer to him HOW??? well by reading his word and praying is as simple as that.
