Is the Internet connection encrypted? If it is, and McDonald's owns it, then perhaps you can ask them for the Encryption Key in order to gain access to their network.

If, however, it's someone's private home or office network and is encrypted, then I don't think they'd want you on their network.

If, however, it's a public access point or something similar to that and it's not encrypted and other people are able to access the network, then you may want to try some of the following:

Restart your computer

Repair your network connections

Make sure your wireless card is installed properly (If it's external)

If there is a switch that enables you to turn your wireless card on and off, then make sure that it's indeed turned on.

If those fail, then perhaps doing a System Restore to a time where it worked before.

If that fails, then perhaps running a virus and antispyware scan can help.

Good luck and please stay safe!

for u to access the Wi-Fi at Mcdonalds u need to have a Wi-Fi Enable machine with you. if you have one make sure its enabled. you cannot access internet as soon as the connection is detected. these networks are secured and require some password or permission to access. its good to ask the member of that McDonald to provide you with information to access the internet.
hope this helps you.

you need an airport hookup in the place you are in to get wireless internet. duhh, you cant just get it anywhere.

if mcdonalds has it and you still cant get it, they probably have a password. alsoooo, you have to disconnect from your regualer and connect to mcD's
