My doctor has put me on a whole slew of medicines lately and it's hard to keep track of which ones I've taken when. I've tried to keep track on paper and on wordpad but I find my memory gets so bad at times that I can't trust my notes to be accurate. Sad I know.

I'm wondering if anyone knows of any computer program I can download which will enable me to enter the names of my medicines and number of times a day I have to take them and then maybe a checkbox for each time that day I've taken them?

Thanks.

Dont know about a computer program, but there is a simple, low tech way. Get a pill counter box. They are available for the day or week. Count the pills out in the morning. Put them into the morning, noon, night boxes. If they're still there - you didn't take them. My mom has the same problem. Good luck.

Don't know where you're from but here in Australia chemists and supermarkets have tablet boxes you can put all your tablets in for a particular day, week or month at a time, some have them for morning day and night etc. you may have to buy several but mark them clearly with a texta so you know which is which.
I'd also discuss with my doctor if they are all necessary, or ask the chemist.

Why not just get a pill organizer for each day of the week, it usually has three of four compartments for each day. Then you can fill them out for the week. I have to do this for my mother. She has 21 different medicines that she takes at different times. I bought four different organizers so I only have to sort her medicines once a month. You can easily look at the organizers to see if you have taken your meds for that day and time.

Good luck.

Another alternative is to get a medicine dosage box.

These have a compartment for each day, morning, lunchtime, evening and bedtime, so you can break medicines into 4 daily doses and a quick check lets you know if you have missed any.

You can even arrange for a pharmasist to fill one for you for a small fee, if you don't trust yourself to sort them out.
