I know they already named the ODI team, but why would you drop guys like Rohit Sharma and Robin Uthappa in place of the oldtimers like Dravid and Ganguly and that too when they just won you the world cup!

I agree with you. That is what 1 billion Indians are saying right now.

But the selectors have left out Sehwag for the Australia series. Bad decision i think.

Things are looking good for the Indian team all of a sudden. So much competion among players.
That's good for our cricket

Rohit Sharma is the future of our team. He should have been picked. The reason why he was let out was that no one is expected him to play so well.

There are 12 ODIs to be played between Australia and Pakistan in the coming months. The team has been announ ced only for the first 3 ODIs. Selectors have already made it clear that they are going to adopt rotation policy. Hence we can expect the players who have not been included in the team announced now getting their place in the next list. I stronglhy feel that that will be a good policy as by the end of 12 ODIs, the capability and talent of youngsters for odi form of cricket can be assessed and a strong team and bench strength can be built up.

We should not leave them out.We can also adopt rotation policy to keep more players engaged instead of always being in reserve. We played without Yuvraj and Sehwag in cxrucial matches and still won.Why can't we do it in a phased manner.
