I used to listen to BBC Radio 2, but Ken Bruce was very irritating, so now I listen to Radio 4 on and off throughout the day.

It has a great variety of news, documentaries, plays, and some great comedy. Mornings are very good for in depth analysis of what's going on in the world.

No music - bar 'Desert Island Discs', which can be very good, depending on the featured guest.

If you have a digital radio, you could also try BBC Radio 7. I like it a lot.

They can be silly in a family sort of way, But one mentioned on here called Kidd Kraddick in the Morning is very popular for not offending people..

Actually the mornign shows of most Adult Contemporary and Christian station (like K-Love) are usually the ones I find that would suit you most (Kidd Kraddick is on Adult contemporary and many top 40 stations around the nation)

Listen to the latest news and commentaries on the radio in the morning. It is very informative to people who have the nose for news.

Johnny Walker on Radio 2. He's sitting in for Wogan (who is boring) and he's sooo much better!

I prefer Mark & Brian. They're syndicated, mostly on the West Coast. Their home station is KLOS 95.5 FM
