NASA sends astronauts in orbit to space stations and satellites but when will they send men BACK to the MOON? You'd think that with this being the NEW MILLENIUM, they'd already been there and done that and going back for more! Looks like our Sci-Fi movies and adventures have all proven to be FLUKES.

So many people are completely unaware of the current plans to return men to the moon by around 2020 and start building a permanent base there. It's not just a maybe or something, NASA is actually planning to do this with the new Orion CEV they are designing.

we already sent men to the moon a few times now. NASA is now working on sending people to Mars, within the next ten years. So by 2017, the USA will have had the first human on mars

Hello Delores...

I cannot really think of any good reason for NASA to spend the billions of dollars it might cost to send a repeat mission to the Moon. There has to be a Cost-Benefit relationship. At this time there doesn't seem to be any "Benefit."

When they have the budget. As far as i know NASA is concentrating on other projects like Mars (especially) and beyond.
