I look at the stars and think how wonderful that I have been given a chance to live and see all the wonders God gave us.
You are right, it comes from inside. There is plenty to be thankful for.

I look at the stars and think of the beauty of this world and am in awe of the feeling of oneness with everything and everyone and at the same time the feeling of being completely alone and cold.

I never took that into my mind, I just look up to try to find 3 blue stars in a straight line that my friend and I noticed one night...too bad she's no longer here :(

Yes, I have to say that I do...The stars are lovely, hate the winter time when it's too cold to be out for long to not be able to enjoy them...

Cant say I do the God thing as I have never met God!!
But I do look up and wander if all the people I have lost to death are somewhere out there looking out for me.Or if there is life out there as we cannot be the only planet with life on it.

when I look up at stars I think of the thousands of Galaxy's moving around out there , and I wonder what is the universe spreading out into?

No, but I do look up into the night sky (just come back in from my roof terrace) and wonder at how small and insignificant I am in this massive universe...
