My son wanTs To know why he has To eaT a regular dinner while mommy geTs To have popcorn for dinner?

It is a reasonable question. Mommy too should give her son company & eat with him. Excuses for not joining him for dinner won't be acceptable to him & us all here!

There's not much you can say under those circumstances. Children learn by imitation. Why don't you have dinner with your son, and then have your popcorn?

that you have to eat popcorn because as you are going to have a test done at the doctors office and popcorn lets them see whats wrong when they use a special light.

OHHHH no bad example for that little one. Make yourself eat a bite of whaTever he is having, then eaT popcorn..DonT punish him for eaTing a bag of popcorn it ainT fair to him..TrusT me I know what I am Talking abouT.

You could say "Because I'm mommy and I'm paying the bills. When you get your own place and pay your own bills, then you can eat whatever you want like mommy"!

that's just the way it is...
when you get older you can do it to.....
mommy needs to eat less.....
you are a growing boy and need a good meal...I'm done growing......
