Well if you know what the defense is going to do before they even do it can make any QB look good. The Pat's really messed with their credibility when they were caught cheating. Rex Grossman would look like a hall of famer with the Pats cheating ways. Now that Brady has weapons like Moss its hard to tell if he is really that good or not.

Brad G ill give you a career record he will hold when he retires....Most Superbowl Wins!!!!! Montana currently the greatest ever in my eyes but who will be able to argue against Brady when he retires with possibly 4 or 5 superbowl rings! And we cant deny that hes just had one of the greatest seasons any QB has ever had....too bad they lost in the Superbowl or else we would already be calling him the greatest ever! Stef (steelers) you confuse me when u say ''A great quarterback can win a superbowl'' was i just imagining things when Tom Brady won 3 superbowls ? and i also hope by ur answer your in no way implying that you think Ben Roethlisberger is the greatest ever lol

Please... Brady is successful because of the system he is in. Regardless of the accusations and allegations of stealing defensive signals, he is a competant QB with a strong arm and great accuracy. However, put him in an improvised situation and he will struggle. Brady is in a great system with a very cerebral coach that fits him very well.

Brady also has had great talent around him making him that much better. Just like any system, it needs all the right parts to work and that is what has happened in NE. Remember last year Brady did not have the recievers that he needed in the system and what did he accomplish? Good stats and record but not what he had done previously, so the system when out and picked up a bunch of recievers for him.

Saying all that, greatest of all time? No but will definately be remembered in the top ten.

Tom Brady is a decent quarter back, whom has been surrounded by really good players, almost any starting Qb in the nfl would have the same ammount of rings if they were surrounded by the quality of players that Tom has been, compare numbers to Manning,Marino,Elway,Montana, and you will see Tom is definately not a great Qb

i wouldn't say that BUT, the media will tell you that.

it's no secret now that the Pats were benifitting from stealing defensive signals & it's been going on several years. at the same time i don't blame Brady for that but what Belicheat did was wrong & should tarnish anything Brady accomplished. see Barry Bonds

in my opinion Rings should NOT decide who is a good QB & definatly not decide who the best of all time is. Trent Dilfer has a ring!!!!

Dan Marino is the best of all time & he don't have any rings.
Brett Favre should be considered & Peyton Manning will destroy anything these 2 ever accomplished.

His name will be in the discussion, but he will never be considered the best ever. Not at least by anybody except a Pats fan.

Especially with the Pats stealing defensive signals. I'm not saying that's why he's been successful. However, this will tarnish his future reputation regardless of how much it really helped him. They say your innocent until proven guilty. Not when you make millions of dollars a year playing sports. Can anybody say Barry Bonds.

In all fairness, Brady is a good QB. Best of all time? Hardly. One day he may be in that category, but he isn't yet.

No, he's the perfect fit to a good system. He's just a system QB, that's all. If you stuck him on the Browns he'd struggle.

Not yet in Top 10 even IMO. His rings mean nothing as a below average QB can win a ring.
