i just want to know if soon he will be able to swim or maybe i should just flush him... he TRIES to swim but he sucks at it. he only makes it an inch or two then floats back up.

You may not have enough oxygen in your tank. Do you have other fish in it that are doing well? Also, you need to realize that clownfish are saltwater fish, thus they need a saltwater tank.

Check your salinity and temp. Also make sure your ammonia and nitrites are under control. I would try offering him some brine shrimp or some other kind of live food which might entice him to eat so he can gain back his strength. It is also possible that he stressed out by other fish in your tank and that is why he is staying to the top. good luck!

it could be a few reasons. what are the parameters in the tank...salinity, pH, amonia, nitrate, nitrite? does it have a discolorations on it? can he eat at all?
