No-I didn't know that and would have guessed Kennedy over Clinton for sentimental reasons. The most unpopular seems right if it's a current poll. History may change things. Nixon, despite Watergate, opened the door to relations with China and ended the Vietnam War.

Wow! You said God forbid any President is assassinated and then asked why George Bush and Herbert Hoover were not shot? Do you honestly think those are the only two presidents that were disliked? If you do, then you need to do some research. Jimmy Carter was despised by most people when he was in office including by some in his cabinet. Lyndon Johnson was despised by nearly half the country. Franklin Roosevelt was unpopular until he died just as Kennedy was. Abraham Lincoln was hated by most people. The assasinations had nothing to do with popularity or unpopularity. Assasination of a President is done by a TRAITOR and he should be tried as one when caught.

I wouldn't question the results though.

I think that is accurate, as far as recent ones, and there's both parties there so most should be ok with it....but I bet a Reb. brings up Clinton...
No he's not going to make the list as one of the most unpopular....

What are you trying to gain with this question? Knowledge of whether or not people check polls? Or are you just using a question as an insincere lead-in to pander useless political trivia?

Who really cares? Presidents are supposed to lead, not win popularity contests.
