The ACLU will DEFEND Michael Moore if anyone has the guts to sue. There are conservative legal groups that are much better choices to sue him. Part of the problem is finding someone that can legally claim to be the victim of slander. Perjury would not apply as he was not making statements under oath.

Slander or libel suits won't work, even if they tried, because everyone that Moore calls out in his movies is a public figure and therefore, at least legally, they can't sue him for slander or libel with the proof that they have (plus, many would say it's true what Moore said, and if it went to a trial, whether or not it's true would be at issue, and they definitely don't want that). And you can't be charged with perjury unless you testify (and lie) under oath.
Nice rant, though. Maybe you should get a blog for airing your opinions instead of doing it here. That really isn't a question.
