There are way too many memories to mention, but some that I've been thinking of lately include the following.

As a kid, I remember when December would come around and art class would become a chance to create handmade decorations.

Then there were the school Christmas plays that we'd put on. There would usually be one in the afternoon and one in the evening. I don't know why, but there was always something magical about the evening plays.

Then we'd write letters to Santa which would be published in the local paper. Of course, Santa would show up at our school for a brief visit and hand out candy canes.

Those are all great memories from a more innocent time.

My favorite memory during Christmas time was when I was at least 5 years old. My family was having a party and most of their friends and family and my friends were there. Everybody was laughing and talking, so nice and warm it felt. There was hot cocoa, christmas movies, and games. It was a warm feeling in my small heart back then.

Hopefully, this year will be my best. But I have to say when I was 9 years old, we had my aunt come over for Christmas. We did not get to see her often, so it was a wonderful time.

I love decorating the tree! Usually, when me and my mom [or me and my dad] do, its snowing lightly outside and were drinking hot chocolate or apple cider. The whole environment is just so cozy and nice, it makes me feel so protected and loved. I love Christmas so much! The whole season...the mall, the weather, the traditons, family, gifts, food...just makes me so happy! I can't wait til Chrsitmas!!
