I would appreciate it if anybody could give me some ideas on how to get a paint stain-i'm not sure what type of paint it is-out of one of my friends' shirts I had borrowed. Well, it was homecoming week at my school and my class needed to wear orange shirts and my best friend borrowed me one in which I didn't wear so I let my other clumsey friend wear it without consenting my best friend about it. turns out she wore it to art class and got a whole bunch of paint on it-she says it's waterbased paint but I don't think so. I've tried everything to get this paint stain out of the shirt; such as:
-Hairspray
-Rubbing Alcohol
-Clorox stain remover
-tide-to-go
-oil
-OOPS!
-Laundry detergent.
-Nail polish remover
-and i washed it and scrubbed it many times.
the stain has fadded a little bit from its original stain but it's still bad. I don't want to tell me friends and I don't know where to get another one.
and the shirt is an orange 100% cotton one i'm pretty sure. ideas? THANKS!! :]

Mineral Spirits (found near paint cans in Paint Dept)
Use in well ventilated area such as garage with door open.
Rinse WELL. If out wash as usual.

If shirt is absolutely color fast, use bar of Lava soap.

Hmm. Get some Tide (it usually works the best) and fill up a tub/basin of hot, hot water. Add a bunch of tide to the water as it's filling and get it all soapy. Then soak the shirt completely in there and wash it with your hands a little. Let it sit there for an hour. Take it out and rinse with cold water. This should work. If not, try with color-safe bleach.

If it's oil base paint, try rubbing the spot with Go-Jo waterless hand cleaner, rub it in and blot if it starts to loosen the paint. Then wash with regular detergent. if it's water based p[aint, try wetting the spot with warm water and rub the spot with FELS-NAPTHA bar laundry soap and wash with regular detergent.

paint thinner?
whenever you have a stain, make sure its out before you dry it in the dryer, the heat makes it set in.
if it still wont come out, if may be permanent.
