I have a speach due tomorrow for school. The topic is Pet Peeves. We just got the assignment today and we present tomorrow. It only has to be 1 minute long. I already have enough info, but now I am just curious about your pet peeves if you have any. Explain.
The one I chose for the speach is "Crying Babies in Resteraunts"
Reasons:
I do not like when someones baby is crying in a resteraunt when you're trying to have a nice meal wether it be by yourself or with all your family as a gathering.
I know most people say, well just think if it was your crying baby...
And what I say to that is, If my baby was crying, I would quickly take her outside and get her to stop crying then bring her back in. And At least I would try and be polite about it.
But some people, when their baby is crying, they just try to shove something in their mouth or right then and there try and rock them or talk to them or something.
What is your pet peeve? Explain.

People who never say my name and drivers that need to pull their heads out of their asses while driving.
FYI~You spelled restaurants wrong. I would only tell you this because you are doing a speech and I don't know if you have to turn anything in, because it may affect your grade. Good luck!
Also!~ I hate annoying people who just complain about every single thing in the entire world. I sit next to one at work and I have invested in earplugs...

I am speaking as a person who has been on both sides of that issue. I tend to lean towards the right of the other people in the restaurant to enjoy a peaceful meal. I feel bad for the couple with the crying baby- but- it is their problem, not the shared problem of all the other diners. If your baby is crying and cannot be pacified, the only polite thing to do is to ask that your food be boxed, and leave the restaurant. Some people don't get to go out to eat that often, and to ruin their evening is not only unfair- it is rude.

• changing the spelling of boy names to cause them to a females call (There some exceptions, nonetheless. for occasion - Teagan and Tegan. Teagan is an Irish boys call, wisely spelled. Tegan is a Welsh woman call, wisely spelled.) occasion: Averie Ryleigh, Alyn - Spelling them otherwise does not make it a females call! i do no longer even relatively hate boy names on females lots as I hate the fymynyzed spellings! i could relatively see a woman named Jake or Michael than a Ryleigh or Averie! • First and center / First and final names ending interior an identical sound. occasion: Sophia Isabella, Ashley Marie, Tyler Alexander... • First and center / First and final names initiate with comparable letter / sound or the two initiate with vowels. Examples: Sarah Smith, Erin Ashley, Charlotte Samantha, Kendall Corbin... • Made up names. Examples: Nevaeh, LaDestiny, Breelee, Bentley...

People who say, " So-and-so told me this in confidence and I know I shouldn't be saying anything but....I trust YOU...so..."
And then they start telling me someone else's secret.
That is really lame and I have no respect for people like that. It is totally my pet peeve.
BTW I don't blame you for not liking to listen to a crying baby. I have kids and I know we need to have dinner out once in awhle but no one needs to hear my child cry all the way through their nice meal. It bugged me before I had kids...and it bugs me now!

My pet peeve is when people slam my cell phone shut. I don't know why, but it get's me SO annoyed. Just that sound....and everyone fukks with my head by slamming it HARD on purpose because they know how much it kills me! Eek!

I have very few pet peeves
but the one that sets off alarms in my head is when
people complain about food, when there is NOTHING wrong with the food.

i dont like it when people don't call back
or even if you leave a message on the machine, they don't get that until its too late
or when someone says they'll call back and don't
it's an inconvenience sometimes and makes me feel like they dont care

people who don't put their LEFT TURN indicators on until after the light turns green; and then you have to cross into the other lane.
people who see FULL TRASH CANS; and STILL put trash ontop of it, instead of emptying it!!
people who see a dirty mirror and won't empty it!!
people who KNOW their breath stinks and won't go to a dentist!!
